About

Dmitry Selipanov is an award-winning composer for film, television, stage, and games.

His score for Ice (the year’s highest-grossing Russian film) won the Golden Eagle Award for Best Original Score. Additional recognition includes a Nika Award nomination, the Prague IFF Jury Prize, and the TEFI Award.

He has recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios, the Prague Metropolitan Orchestra, the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Opensound Orchestra, and the Moscow State Symphony Cinema Orchestra. His scores have been performed at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Site Specific Dances in New York, and the Long Beach Museum of Art. The Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps featured his music at the Drum Corps International Championship.

The Dmitry Selipanov Project performed multiple sold-out shows at Zaryadye Concert Hall, toured across Russia, and was presented at TEDx. Dmitry has collaborated with leading Russian artists including Therr Maitz, Zemfira, and Manizha.

He is based in Los Angeles.
